I’m a new patient so I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to bring my child until I went to my first appt. I was told it’s a new policy the doc set in place. The doc’s facial expression did show that she didn’t like that I brought her (probably looked like I wasn’t following rules purposefully), so the doc was a bit intimidating at first, very serious, but my kid is well behaved so after a bit, the doc seemed more at ease. Overall she seemed very caring, professional, and good at her job. This clinic does only have one doctor, so the waiting time can be very long. I waited about 2 and a half hours before being called out of the waiting room. Once I got in a room, it didn’t take very long for the doc to see me. I usually don’t mind waiting, but I do work so that’s the only part that’s a bit of an inconvenience.
I love the doctor
I've been going to Palo Alto Women's Health Center since 2010 and Dr. Appiah has been great since day 1. She's delivered 4 of my children and will be delivering my 5th. I definitely recommend her for all your OB needs. She is kind and attentive also very friendly and informative. She provides great service and her office is comfortable.
